He kaupapa tino nui i teenei ata ko te whakanoho o ngaa koowhatu mauri ki Ruakura. On 15th of December members of our TGH team joined Kiingi Tuheitia and his mokopuna Hikairo to lay koowhatu mauri (mauri stones) at Ruakura Superhub.
The koowhatu represent the life force and as a matter of custom are laid beneath the whenua as a source of protection.
